I’m too excited for today. I can’t wait to make the first post so here it is.
They pulled in at 6:30 am today and started unloading some more wood for forming out the cut outs and stops for inside the dome. We want to get as much of the stuff that is needed inside before we attach the airform since once it is inflated, everything has to be brought in through the airlock (the 8′ long white box with doors on each end.) There is a small hole for feeding in long pieces of rebar or conduit one piece at a time but we don’t want to do it that way if we can avoid it. Once they get all the other stuff in, they will lift the airform up over the scissor lift and flop it over the other side and secure it down around the bottom. Then it will be time to inflate.
